Before lighting your candle each time, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. A shorter wick helps prevent excess smoke, soot, and mushrooming, and ensures a clean, even burn.

Extinguish your candle with a snuffer instead of blowing it out. This prevents hot wax splatter and helps maintain the wick’s shape for your next use.

On the first burn, allow the candle to melt across the entire surface to avoid tunneling. This creates a "memory burn," helping your candle last longer and burn more evenly each time.

For best results, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning longer than 4 hours continuously, as it can cause the container to overheat or the wick to become unstable.
